FRP Structures
FRP structures are lightweight, giving them low flow resistance and low maintenance costs. FRP structures are characterized by its resistance to deformation and corrosion after being produced, and does require painting. The interior space of the pontoon bridge is composed of numerous cells, in other words, watertight bulkheads, giving it enough buoyancy. This makes it easy to repair and perform maintenance on parts that are damaged on site and gives it excellent wave resistance. It resists damage from waves and winds, and its high flexibility prevents deformation. It can come in various colors and designs, and it is easy to install various structures on the upper portion of the pontoon bridge. As an all-in-one pontoon bridge, it is resistant to partial deformation from wind and waves, and can be manufactured to the local terrain. The company is the first in Korea to receive orders and manufacture pontoons for berthing naval warships.
Composition of FRP Structures
First in Korea
to receive orders for and to manufacture pontoons for berthing naval warships
As the interior is composed of numerous cells, in other words, watertight bulkheads, it has plenty of buoyancy.
The characteristic of the material allows it to resist deformation and corrosion after manufacturing.
It is resistant to damage from waves and winds.
It has excellent wave resistance.
It doesn’t take much damage from waves or winds and has excellent flexibility.
It is resistant to deformation and can be applied with various colors/designs.
As an all-in-one pontoon, it resists partial deformation from waves and winds.
Strengths of FRP Structure
Its lightweight gives it low flow resistance and is able to be repaired/maintained at low cost.
Parts damaged on site are able to be fixed and maintained easily.
It does not require painting.
It is easy to install various structures on the upper portion of the pontoon.
It is safe and can be customized to fit the local terrain.
